Ninh Son: Deploying local defense and military tasks in 2024

On November 24, the People's Committee of Ninh Son district held a conference to evaluate the results of local defense and military work in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024.

In 2023, Party committees and authorities at all levels will focus on directing the effective implementation of local military and defense work, building defense zones; national defense and security education work, raising awareness and responsibility of cadres, party members and people to actively participate in protecting the Fatherland in the new situation. Successfully completing the selection and calling of citizens to join the army, reaching 100% of the target. Consolidating and building 17/17 militia and self-defense focal points, perfecting 8/8 military party cells with party committees, reaching 100%. Maintaining the effective operation of 3/3 regular militia squads in key defense communes (Tan Son town, Quang Son and Ma Noi communes).

In 2024, Ninh Son district will continue to lead and direct the implementation of the Party's directives and resolutions, the State's policies and laws on national defense tasks. Strengthen defense work, ready for combat, firmly protect political security, order and social safety. Strive for exemplary local armed forces; the rate of party members in the militia and self-defense force will reach 27% or more. Each commune and town will develop 1-2 new party members in the militia...

On this occasion, the Chairman of Ninh Son District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 9 individuals with outstanding achievements in performing local military and defense tasks in 2023.
