On the evening of February 7, some police officers from the Traffic Police - Order Team of Thu Duc City Police (HCMC) checked alcohol concentration in front of Linh Trung Ward People's Committee.

At 8:40 p.m., the police discovered a 30-year-old man driving a motorbike erratically on Hoang Dieu 2 Street, Linh Trung Ward, so they stopped the vehicle for a check. The results showed that this person had an alcohol concentration of 0.575 mg/l of breath.

For this violation, the young man will be fined 9 million VND and have his driver's license revoked for 23 months.

The young man said he was an auto technician. Today was the first day the store opened so he drank a few cans of beer. "Because I was weak, I drank 2-3 cans with high alcohol content. Today my boss forced me to drink so I couldn't refuse. Thinking my house was close, I rode my motorbike home. Now my motorbike is being confiscated," the young man said.

Shortly after, the police continued to discover a 58-year-old man showing signs of intoxication on Linh Trung Street, Linh Trung Ward. Knowing he had violated the law, the man strictly complied with the traffic police's request.

A man delivering food to a relative at the hospital was fined for violating alcohol concentration.

The man blew into the measuring device and the result was 0.283 mg/l of breath. Accordingly, he will be fined 7 million VND and have 10 points deducted from his driving license.

He admitted to drinking a few cans of beer at home. However, he explained that a relative in the hospital asked him to bring food to the hospital, and since he had no children at home, he went himself.

"Because I was in such a hurry, I forgot to book a motorbike taxi and went by motorbike myself" - the man said.

At 9:20 p.m., police also discovered a 37-year-old man with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.575 mg/l of breath. He also failed to present a vehicle registration certificate and committed many other violations.

After about 3 hours of work, the working group recorded many violations.
