Mr. Ca Van Ngoc - Ban Ca, Chieng Khoang commune, Quynh Nhai district, Son La : "After the Tet holiday, taking advantage of the warm sunshine, we went to the fields, tilled the soil, plowed, and prepared to plant seeds. Our family planted about 1,000 square meters of rice, mainly glutinous rice 87 and 97. It is expected that our family will finish planting rice this February."

Chieng Khoang is an agricultural commune with the largest total food output in Quynh Nhai district. The district has directed functional branches to instruct the commune to guide and encourage farmers to use high-yield, high-quality varieties to gradually replace local varieties. Irrigation canal systems have also been concreted, with enough water to irrigate more than 221 hectares of rice in the entire commune.
