The match will take place tomorrow afternoon, December 11th, at the Rajamangala Stadium, and the result will determine the top spot in Group B.
“Malaysia is physically strong and plays a powerful attacking game. However, we have prepared thoroughly both physically and tactically. Through professional meetings and the players' diligent training, we are confident that we will achieve our goals,” said coach Kim Sang-sik at the Vietnam U22 team's training session in Bangkok today.

With both teams having 3 points but trailing their opponents on goal difference, the Vietnam U22 team must win if they want to secure first place in the group. Coach Kim Sang-sik stated that this is also the goal of the Vietnam U22 team. The South Korean coach affirmed that all 23 players are well-prepared and ready for the match.
"Winning is a mandatory goal," said coach Kim Sang-sik, adding that he had reminded the players that the match against U22 Malaysia was similar to a knockout round.
Regarding the technical aspects of the Vietnam U22 team, coach Kim Sang-sik stated that the team created many opportunities but failed to capitalize on them. However, the players are improving with each match, and the victory against Laos U22 has boosted the team's confidence.

During this afternoon's training session in Bangkok, coach Kim Sang-sik had the players do light exercises to maintain their ball control and practice tactics.
