SEA Games 33 Diary, December 11th: Expectations in Athletics and Swimming

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - On today's competition day (December 11th), the Vietnamese Sports Delegation will compete in 26 events, many of which are finals such as athletics and swimming... these are promising "gold mines".

On the first day of competition, athletes from the Vietnamese Sports Delegation won 4 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 16 bronze medals, ranking 4th in the overall medal standings. The 4 gold medals were won by athletes in Canoeing, Taekwondo, swimming, and petanque.

On today's competition day (December 11th), athletes will participate in the qualifying and final rounds in many sports such as badminton, pétanque, baseball, 3x3 basketball, kayak and canoe racing, chess, etc. With many strong sports like swimming, athletics, boxing, judo, and jiu-jitsu... holding finals, the Vietnamese sports delegation can certainly aim to significantly increase the number of medals to improve its position on the overall medal table.
