The postage stamp set "Uncle Ho's stilt house in the Presidential Palace area" was designed by artist Le Khanh Vuong of Vietnam Post Corporation with a concise graphic style.

Painter Le Khanh Vuong used dark brown tones combined with bright green in harmony with nature to create a simple, familiar look, with practical meaning in educating Vietnamese people about tradition and Uncle Ho's simple example.

The stamp set depicts President Ho Chi Minh working in a small corner of a stilt house. The block model introduces the whole view of the stilt house and an overview of the garden and fish pond around the stilt house.

The stamp set highlights the elegant architecture and simple decoration, making the stilt house a unique architecture, with its own nuances but in harmony with nature.

The stamp set includes 1 stamp and 1 block with face value of 4,000 VND and 15,000 VND. The stamp has a size of 43 x 32 (mm), the block has a size of 100 x 70 (mm).

Mr. La Hoang Trung, Director of the Postal Department (Ministry of Information and Communications) affirmed that Uncle Ho's stilt house at the Presidential Palace bears a strong historical mark, has entered the subconscious and hearts of all Vietnamese people as a priceless cultural and spiritual heritage, imbued with the ideology, ethics and revolutionary qualities of a man who devoted himself to the cause of national revolution, to the happiness of the people, to friendship, peace and progress of humanity.

Mr. La Hoang Trung said that the issuance of the postage stamp set "Uncle Ho's stilt house in the Presidential Palace" contributes to fully and widely propagating to compatriots, soldiers nationwide and international friends about the life, career, ideology and revolutionary moral example of President Ho Chi Minh.

Thereby contributing to educating the young generation on patriotism and revolutionary traditions, cultural traditions; nurturing the next generation of revolutionaries, faithfully and excellently continuing the great cause of President Ho Chi Minh...

The stamp set "Uncle Ho's stilt house in the Presidential Palace Area" is available on the postal network from May 17, 2023 to December 31, 2024.

Previously, the Ministry of Information and Communications also issued a number of stamp sets such as: "Commemorating the 82nd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday", "Commemorating the 100th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday", "50 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969 - 2019)".
