Promoting the special heritage value of Phat Tich Pagoda

GD&TĐ - Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh has just signed a decision approving the Plan for preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of the special national relic of Phat Tich Pagoda, Bac Ninh province.

One of the planning contents is to adjust the scale of the relic site, increase the area of ​​the protected area to overcome existing limitations, comprehensively protect original elements, expand the landscape space, traditional culture and improve the effectiveness of management and protection of the relic.

According to the plan, the relic protection area has an area of ​​16.52 hectares, the relic value promotion area has an area of ​​8.43 hectares, and the relic landscape protection buffer zone has an area of ​​8.71 hectares.

Protect the original relics, artifacts, antiquities, and treasures of the relics in their original state. Preserve the natural landscape, cultural landscape, and ecological environment of the relics in conjunction with protecting Phat Tich Mountain.

Renovate, embellish and restore relics based on historical documents, materials and scientific records of the relics, ensuring technical and aesthetic requirements and meeting the needs of cultural, religious and belief activities. Preserve and promote the value of intangible cultural heritage associated with the relics.

Regarding the orientation of promoting the value of relics associated with tourism development, focusing on attracting the market of tourists near the province, from Hanoi and neighboring areas. Focusing on festival tourists, spiritual and religious tourists and weekend tourists.

The main tourism products are sightseeing and exploration of the local culture, history, and natural beauty of the Phat Tich mountain region; and thematic tourism associated with experiencing religious activities and folk culture.
