HNN.VN - On the morning of October 25, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of An Cuu ward held its first Congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term. This is an important political event, marking a new development step of the Youth Union after An Cuu ward was established on the basis of merging the three wards of An Dong, An Tay and An Cuu (old).

During the 2022 - 2025 term, the Youth Union and youth movements achieved many outstanding results. Action movements were widely deployed, notably "Youth Volunteers", "Creative Youth", "Youth Volunteers to Protect the Fatherland" and "Youth Pioneers in Digital Transformation". Many effective models such as "Self-managed Youth Route", "Youth Creative Space", "Youth Digital Transformation for the Community", "Volunteer Saturday - Green Sunday" ... have created a strong influence in the community.

The ward Youth Union focuses on innovating political , ideological, ethical and lifestyle education; promoting digital transformation in propaganda and member management; accompanying young people in studying, starting a business, starting a business and practicing life skills. During the term, the Youth Union introduced 45 outstanding members to the Party for consideration of admission. All key targets were completed and exceeded the plan.

Entering the 2025 - 2030 term, with the slogan of action "Solidarity - Pioneering - Breakthrough - Development", the youth of An Cuu ward determined to continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, promote digital transformation in the work of the Youth Union; promote the spirit of vanguard and creativity of youth in building a "civilized - friendly - safe - rich in identity" urban area.

The An Cuu Ward Youth Union sets a target for each Youth Union base to implement at least 3 digital transformation models annually; organize youth projects associated with building civilized urban areas, digitizing red addresses and cultural relics; provide counseling and career guidance to over 600 young people each year and drastically reduce the rate of union members and young people from poor households. At the same time, continue to build a strong and comprehensive Youth Union organization, develop more Youth Union branches in residential areas, schools and businesses; strive to have 10 Youth Union members join the Party's ranks each year.
