Hoa Cuong Ward Women's Union awarded 59 scholarships to poor students

DNO - On September 9, the Women's Union of Hoa Cuong ward organized the awarding of Green Dream scholarships to poor students who have overcome difficulties to study well on the occasion of the new school year 2025 - 2026.

Accordingly, 59 scholarships (VND 500,000/scholarship) were awarded to 59 students in the ward who have difficult circumstances and have made efforts to improve their studies. Previously, the affiliated women's associations also organized the Green Dream scholarship awarding ceremony in residential areas.

Ms. Dinh Thi Que, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Hoa Cuong Ward, said that the activity is organized annually to care for and support disadvantaged students. The funding for implementation is taken from the fund for collecting recyclable waste by the women's union members and officials.

Up to now, the whole ward has awarded 160 Green Dream scholarships to poor but studious students on the occasion of the new school year. In addition, women's union members in the area also classify and collect household waste to raise awareness of environmental protection and build a green, clean and beautiful lifestyle in the community.
