An Khe Ward launched a campaign to make the world cleaner

DNO - On September 20, the People's Committee of An Khe ward launched a campaign to respond to the campaign to make the world cleaner by 2025 (the third week of September), mobilizing human resources and means to solve environmental problems and raise community responsibility in environmental protection.

At the launching ceremony, Chairman of An Khe Ward People's Committee Ngo Ngoc Hau called on officials, people, organizations and businesses in the ward to raise their responsibility and take stronger actions in maintaining environmental hygiene; rationally and economically using natural resources; limiting the use of disposable plastic products and hard-to-decompose plastic bags and replacing them with environmentally friendly products and materials.

Residential areas focus resources on thoroughly resolving pollution-prone areas; protecting the environment of rivers, lakes, canals, and ditches; responding to the Green, Clean, and Beautiful Sunday movement in markets, streets, alleys, and lanes; dredging and clearing sewers; planting, caring for, and protecting trees.

Enterprises and production and service establishments must increase their responsibility to protect the environment in association with green growth.

After the launching ceremony, a large number of people, members of associations, unions, workers of Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company, Da Nang Drainage and Wastewater Treatment Company, officers and soldiers of military units launched a general clean-up campaign along Can Giuoc, Nguyen Dinh Tuu, Nguyen Cong Hang streets and around Hoa Phat , Hoa An, Thuan An markets; scooped up duckweed, collected garbage and tree branches to clear the flow along Phan Lang canal; collected recyclable waste, promoted waste classification at source...

On September 20 and 21, many residential areas, associations, and organizations launched a general environmental cleaning campaign, collected garbage, dredged and cleared drainage systems in Thanh Khe, An Hai, Hoa Vang, Hoa Tien, Ba Na... in response to the campaign to make the world cleaner.
