
Before the heroic martyrs, the delegates took a minute to remember and offered fresh wreaths to express their respect to the heroic martyrs who devoted their youth to the cause of fighting for national independence and freedom of the people.
The Party Committee, government and people of Dong Da ward vow to follow the heroic and indomitable tradition of previous generations, promote the spirit of dynamism, creativity and intellectual fortitude, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, build and firmly defend the Fatherland of Vietnam; unite, be of one mind, make every effort, contribute to the construction and development of Dong Da ward to become increasingly prosperous, civilized and modern.

Also on July 23, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Da ward organized delegations to visit and present gifts to meritorious people and typical policy families in the area.
The delegation led by Party Secretary and Chairman of Dong Da Ward People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Viet visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Tran Ngoc Thanh, a 28% disabled veteran; the family of Mr. Luong Xuan Chi, a 21% disabled veteran; and the family of Mr. Cao Van Thanh, a 92% disabled veteran, 61% affected by toxic chemicals.

The delegation led by Standing Deputy Secretary of Dong Da Ward Party Committee Dinh Nguyen Manh visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh, a 21% disabled soldier; Mr. Nguyen Van Cu, a 41% disabled soldier and the family of Mr. Dinh Minh Gioi, a disabled soldier.
The delegation led by Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Dong Da Ward People's Committee Trinh Huu Tuan visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Mac Thuan, a 43% disabled soldier, and the family of Mr. Hoang Ngoc Chuc, a 41% disabled soldier and 65% sick soldier.

At the families, the delegations visited, encouraged, and expressed deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of policy families in the cause of national liberation and national construction; at the same time, they hoped that the families would continue to promote revolutionary traditions, be shining examples for the younger generation to follow, and contribute to the development of the locality.
