The champion of the 2025 National Creative Startup Talent Search Competition will represent Vietnam at the Startup World Cup in the US.

The final round of the National Startup Talent Search will take place on the evening of December 12, at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hanoi . The winning team will be awarded a ticket to the Startup World Cup held in San Francisco (USA), thereby having the opportunity to compete for a prize worth one million USD.

The National Creative Startup Talent Search Competition is directed by the Ministry of Science and Technology , implemented by the Agency for Startups and Technology Enterprises, aiming to search for and support creative startups of Vietnamese people at home and abroad.

The competition targets startups that apply science , technology and innovation to solve market and social problems. To participate, startups must ensure that they have innovative products, services or technologies and have developed them to the prototype stage.

The contest group includes businesses whose founders or co-founders are Vietnamese, people of Vietnamese origin living in or outside Vietnam, as well as foreign businesses registered to do business in Vietnam.

From hundreds of submitted applications, the Top 10 teams were selected to enter the final round. Here, the teams will present directly to the jury about their business model, technology solutions and development orientation, focusing on practical application and expansion potential.

According to the organizers, in addition to factors such as creativity, market demand, business plan and competitive advantage, this year's competition's evaluation criteria focus on social impact, green transformation and digital innovation. Projects that demonstrate the ability to solve specific problems, have clear and measurable impacts, and are linked to a long-term vision of green and digital transformation will be highly appreciated.

The activities and events of Techfest Vietnam 2025 will be held around the Ho Guom pedestrian area in Hanoi.

In 2025, the total value of prizes and support packages of the National Creative Startup Talent Search Competition will reach its highest level, up to 50,000 USD. In addition to the Startup World Cup, the competing teams will also have the opportunity to access support resources from the competition's partners.

During the competition rounds, businesses are connected with more than 100 domestic and international funds and investors, participate in intensive training and consulting programs, and receive media sponsorship from a network of more than 200 press agencies.

The National Creative Startup Talent Search Competition was initiated in 2015 and is a key activity within the framework of the Techfest Vietnam event.

This year, Techfest Vietnam 2025, organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee, is scheduled to take place from December 12 to 14 in the Hoan Kiem Lake walking street area, with many activities to announce policies and connect investments.
