Quang Nam advances 63.8 billion VND to implement 3 investment projects

The "Central Region Linkage" project is one of three projects that the Provincial People's Committee has approved to advance the provincial budget.

This amount of funds is used for compensation, site clearance, payment of construction costs and consulting costs according to the prescribed ratio between the provincial budget's counterpart capital and the provincial budget's capital borrowed from projects using loan capital.

The projects that have received advance payments include: Central Region Connectivity Project in Quang Nam Province (VND25 billion); Building Climate Change Adaptation Infrastructure for Ethnic Minorities (CRIEM) - a component project of Quang Nam Province (VND30 billion); Developing the environment and urban infrastructure to respond to climate change in Hoi An City (VND8.8 billion).

The Provincial People's Committee requests the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to be responsible for disbursing capital plans on time and making payments in accordance with regulations.

The Department of Finance and the State Treasury of Quang Nam shall establish procedures for advancing the provincial budget, monitor and process the recovery of the advanced budget when capital is allocated.

The Department of Planning and Investment monitors capital sources to advise the Provincial People's Committee on arranging capital plans for projects and recovering capital plans advanced from the provincial budget.
