Quang Tri: Successful cesarean section for pregnant woman with 3 children

A 32-year-old pregnant woman in Quang Tri, pregnant with triplets, has just had a successful cesarean section performed by doctors at Tuyen Hoa Regional General Hospital.

On August 17, information from Tuyen Hoa Regional General Hospital ( Quang Tri ) said that it had just successfully performed a cesarean section for a pregnant woman carrying triplets.

The pregnant woman is Ms. MTT, 32 years old, residing in Tuyen Phu commune (Quang Tri), pregnant for the 6th time, 34 weeks pregnant. Ms. T. was hospitalized in a state of labor pain, pink vaginal discharge, and almost fully dilated cervix.

Through examination and ultrasound, the doctor discovered that the umbilical cord was knotted, which posed a high risk to the lives of both mother and child.

Faced with the emergency, doctors activated the red alert, mobilizing the surgical team and related departments to perform the surgery.

After many hours of surgery, the surgical team safely delivered three baby boys weighing 2.1 kg, 2.1 kg and 2 kg respectively. All three baby boys are healthy and have good reflexes.
