The latest episode of the "Newlywed Couple" program welcomes the participation of the couple Tieu Hue (real name Vi Thi Hue, 26 years old) and Le Van Kim (38 years old). Tieu Hue works as an office employee in Binh Duong , while Van Kim is pursuing a career in music composition.

During her final year of high school, Xiao Hui was browsing social media when she accidentally saw a message from a guy. His profile picture was a guitar with a flower attached. Curious about him, she replied to his message, using informal pronouns like "you" and "me."

"Back in 2015, Little Hue's profile picture wasn't very clear. But I could still tell she was pretty. At that time, I was working in Binh Duong," Van Kim shared.

The guy was surprised because his girlfriend looked different in real life than in the photos ( Video : NL).

However, it wasn't until six months later that they met in person for the first time at Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City. At that time, Tieu Hue was focused on studying for her university entrance exams but failed. After hearing the news that his girlfriend hadn't passed, Van Kim called and said, "Come here, you can study accounting and work at the same time. I'll take care of you."

The groom's family further shared that, in the past, Xiao Hui was a good student and planned to apply to the police academy. She scored 26.5 points on the university entrance exam, just 0.5 points short of passing. But if Xiao Hui had entered the academy, the young couple would not have had the chance to meet.

During the six months they hadn't seen each other in person, Van Kim bought gifts and clothes to send to his girlfriend. He knew that if she got into university, they wouldn't be able to see each other again.

"When I sent gifts to Xiao Hui, I didn't expect anything in return. The first time I saw Xiao Hui's picture, I felt her genuine nature. We may not be destined to be together, but helping Xiao Hui is still a good thing," Van Kim said.

When Tiểu Huệ heard her boyfriend's suggestion to move to Bình Dương, she discussed it with her father. Both father and daughter agreed with the idea. Previously, Tiểu Huệ's father and Văn Kim had spoken and got along quite well.

Later, Van Kim booked plane tickets for Tieu Hue and her father to Binh Duong. The groom's family arrived by taxi to pick them up, and he instructed his girlfriend to wear white. As soon as he saw Tieu Hue in person, the young man thought to himself, "Why doesn't she look like the picture? She's so ugly."

But he didn't reveal this openly and still waved goodbye to Xiao Hui's father. While sitting in the taxi, he continued to think, "Does my life have to be with this girl? Why does she look so different in pictures than in real life?" He said he felt quite disappointed at that moment.

When she saw Wen Jin get out of the car, Xiao Hui felt lucky that he "wasn't lame." She said, "How ugly he is! I can't imagine my husband being so ugly." As she sat in the taxi, she had the same thought as Wen Jin: "Could it be that I've gotten involved with this guy?"

Partly trusting this prospective son-in-law, Xiao Hui's father agreed to let his daughter come here to start a new life. But when he returned home, he walked and cried, worried about his daughter. Xiao Hui's mother wanted her to come home, worried about what kind of person the man she met online really was.

The woman said she didn't know why she agreed to stay in Binh Duong with Van Kim, but she felt that Van Kim was being sincere with her.
