Hue National School has a candidate in the final round of Olympia for the third consecutive year

(Dan Tri) - With Le Quang Duy Khoa winning the first quarter of Road to Olympia 2025, Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted has a member in the finals for the third consecutive year.

In the first quarter competition of Road to Olympia 2025 on January 12, Le Quang Duy Khoa competed with Phung Manh Dung of Quang Oai High School - Hanoi , Tran Le Minh Triet of Ho Chi Minh City Gifted High School and Vu Viet Hoang of Song Cong High School, Thai Nguyen.

Duy Khoa had a good start and obstacle course, far surpassing the other contestants, including Viet Hoang - the second place contestant - with 75 points.

However, the male student was weak in the Acceleration round and failed the first Finish round. By answering all 3 questions with 20 points wrong, Khoa lost the leading position to Minh Triet.

Also from this point, the first quarter match of Road to Olympia became intense.

Khoa fell from second place to third place when Viet Hoang scored 20 points. Before Manh Dung's final round, Minh Triet, Viet Hoang, and Duy Khoa's scores were 155, 140, and 130, respectively.

Dung chose the 30-20-30 question package. He answered the first two questions incorrectly, but the other three candidates had no answers.

The final result depends on the last question which is worth 30 points. If Dung continues to be unable to answer, the remaining 3 names, whoever has the answer, will win the laurel wreath and become the first person to enter the final round of the 25th year.

Dung did not answer this question and Khoa immediately rang the bell to get the right to answer. After the male student gave his answer, the MC announced "Hue will continue to have a television conference".

Khoa won with 160 points, 5 points more than Minh Triet.

Le Quang Duy Khoa officially brought the television bridge to Hue city for the third consecutive year. At the same time, Khoa is a student of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, participating in the final round of the Road to Olympia for the third consecutive year after Vo Quang Phu Duc (2024) and Nguyen Minh Triet (2023).
