Ghost in the Shell is in the top 5 hundred billion movies; Hoang Thuy Linh's concert movie earned 148 million VND

Possessed continues to dominate the box office, while Vietnamese concert film: We are Vietnamese by singer Hoang Thuy Linh has dismal sales.

This past week saw a wave of film releases on March 14th, with notable titles such as "The Hilarious Assassin," "I Don't Hurt," "Mickey 17," and the Vietnamese concert film: "We Are Vietnamese."

The Corpse Demon continues to be a box office sensation.

According to The Box Office Vietnam, The Corpse Topped the box office last weekend with 26.8 billion VND, bringing its total revenue to 114.8 billion VND after 10 days in theaters (including early screenings).

With approximately 3,400 screenings per day, The Corpse Demon continues to dominate its competitors. Mickey 17 , Hoang Thuy Linh's concert film, and Hitman 2 are all unable to dethrone this horror film from the box office.

Films produced by Nhat Trung still maintain their appeal thanks to being released in a context with few competitors, especially when "Am Duong Lo" - a Vietnamese film of the same genre - was released at the end of March.

If it maintains its current revenue growth and screening rate, *The Corpse Possessed* has the potential to surpass *The Ghost of the Dead* (127 billion VND) and become the highest-grossing Vietnamese horror film of all time.

In second place is " The Extremely Hilarious Assassin ," which grossed 21.6 billion VND after 3 days in theaters. The film attracted audiences thanks to its successful home box office performance and the charming voice-over by actors Le Khanh and Le Duong Bao Lam.

The story continues to follow Jun, a webtoon artist who rose to fame quickly with his work *Assassination Agent Jun* . However, after the second part was heavily criticized, he was quickly labeled a "brainless writer".

Things take a sudden turn when a real-life terrorist attack occurs, eerily coinciding with the plot of the second part he just published.

This made Jun an unwilling suspect, falsely accused by the NIS (National Intelligence Service of South Korea) of being the mastermind behind the crime.

In third place is "The Ancestral House ," which currently has a total revenue of 235.5 billion VND after nearly a month in theaters. Huynh Lap's film still has approximately 1,100 screenings per day.

Notably, the Vietnamese concert film "We Are Vietnamese" by singer Hoang Thuy Linh disappeared from the top 10 box office. The film grossed 148 million VND over the past weekend with only about 50 screenings per day.

Many viewers believe that Hoang Thuy Linh has had a breakthrough music career with elaborately produced solo concerts, but her documentary film is rather bland and lacks a climax that would leave a lasting impression on the audience.

Snow White live-action movie coming to theaters

Next week, Snow White, The Unmentionable Profession, The Girl We Chased Together That Year, The Haunted Station, Exorcism Chronicles: The Dark Origins, The Circle of Misfortune , and Love for Love, Madness for Love will all be released in theaters on March 21st.

Most notably, there is Snow White – the live-action adaptation of Disney's 1937 animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Directed by Marc Webb, who previously achieved success with The Amazing Spider-Man , the film revolves around Snow White living in a forest with the seven dwarves after fleeing from the evil Queen.

The story revolves around the conflict between Snow White's beauty and the Queen's jealousy, to the point where the Queen orders the hunters to kill her.

Upon discovering that Snow White was still alive, the wicked queen visited her at her log cabin and gave her a poisoned apple.

After being poisoned, Snow White is awakened by the prince's kiss.

This version offers a fresh approach, while retaining the spirit of the original story, albeit with many changes in character portrayal and style.
