Zannier Bai San Ho Resort (formerly Phu Yen , now Dak Lak) has just announced that it will temporarily suspend operations until the end of March 2026 for repairs. According to the representative of the unit, the cause is the severe flooding in the Central region and storm Kalmaegi (storm No. 13).
This is one of the resorts in Vietnam that continuously appears in the "best hotels in the world " rankings.
In September, the resort was honored at number 44 in the list of the world's top 50 hotels by Telegraph Hotel Awards. In October, it continued to appear in the top 100 Best Hotels in Asia - Pacific voted by Tatler Asia , being one of only 4 representatives from Vietnam.
In its first global hotel ranking (Michelin Key), the Michelin guide announced Zannier Bai San Ho achieved 2 Michelin Keys, in the "excellent accommodation experience" category.

Typhoon Kalmaegi with wind speed of level 13 made landfall in Dak Lak and Gia Lai provinces on the evening of November 6, killing at least 5 people, leaving 3 missing, and destroying and blowing off roofs of more than 2,000 houses. This is one of the strongest and most complex storms of 2025.
Then, from mid to late November, the South Central region suffered a historic flood, which was considered a rare extreme phenomenon. According to the classification of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), this is an event with a very low frequency.
The simultaneous record-breaking floods in 3-5 basins are considered "extremely rare", almost never occurring in more than half a century of monitoring, exceeding "normally calculated flood levels".
