The Vietnamese team from Binh Dinh is currently leading the Grand Prix of Indonesia standings , marking their debut in the world's largest Formula 1 motorboat racing competition. Leading the Binh Dinh F1H2O motorboat team is Swedish driver Jonas Andersson, a 31-time podium finisher and the reigning 2023 champion. His teammate is Stephan Arand, Estonia's most successful young athlete, who started competing in 2012 and has achieved many impressive feats, including the 2017 F4 World Championship, the 2018 F4 European Championship, and the 2022 F2 World Championship. In 2023, Arand was promoted to F1H2O and finished the season in third place overall.
