Ensuring safe and stable power supply on the occasion of National Day September 2

Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing activities to celebrate the country's major holidays in 2025, Phu Tho Power Company (PC Phu Tho) has developed and implemented a power supply plan to serve the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, thereby ensuring safe and stable power supply, serving political and cultural events and people's lives in the area.

According to the plan, the applicable entities are units under the direct management of Phu Tho Power Company, electricity distribution and retail units in the province, and customers with their own power lines and substations connected to the Phu Tho Power Company's managed grid.

During the National Day holiday on September 2nd, the peak load demand (Pmax) for the entire province is projected to reach 1,484 - 1,857 MW. To ensure overall effectiveness, Phu Tho Power Company has assigned clear tasks to each department; requiring subordinate units to focus human and resource resources to ensure that all locations hosting political , cultural, and social activities throughout the province are guaranteed power supply, prioritizing continuous power supply during the commemorative events.

Alongside technical work, the electricity sector is also stepping up the dissemination of information on safe and economical electricity use through text messages, leaflets, social media, and direct communication with the public. Electricity management teams are intensifying inspections, addressing defects and risks, and reinforcing the power grid. Units are proactively working with local authorities and relevant agencies to determine the time and location of events, arranging appropriate power supply methods to ensure safe and reliable operation of the power source and grid under normal conditions, and flexibly switching to alternative solutions in case of emergencies; especially deploying personnel on duty 24/7 in key areas.

Electricity workers are raising awareness about safe electricity usage among residents of Van Phu ward.

No work requiring power outages or reductions that would cause customer disruptions during the National Day holiday on September 2nd, 2025 (from 00:00 on August 30th, 2025 to 24:00 on September 2nd, 2025) will be carried out, except in cases of force majeure or special circumstances as directed by the Northern Power System Dispatch Center, Northern Power Corporation, and the leadership of Phu Tho Power Company. Priority will be given to ensuring power supply at locations where training, joint rehearsals, preliminary rehearsals, general rehearsals, and political and cultural activities of localities are taking place to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.
