This is an annual activity of great significance, to express deep gratitude to Uncle Ton - a staunch communist, exemplary leader, an outstanding son of his homeland An Giang , a loyal soldier of the international communist and workers' movement.
Attending the program were comrade Le Hoang Hai, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

President Ton Duc Thang was a pioneer in the workers' movement and the Vietnamese national liberation movement, and a close comrade in arms of the great President Ho Chi Minh .
His life of revolutionary activities is a shining example of loyalty and devotion to the Party and the people; upholding the heroic and indomitable spirit; preserving the revolutionary moral qualities: diligence, thrift, integrity, modesty, and simplicity.


In the commemorative program, Ton Duc Thang Museum organized a special exhibition “25 years of Ton Duc Thang Award”, introducing nearly 400 documents and artifacts about the award-winning individuals - who are typical workers, engineers, and laborers with many initiatives, technical innovations, and active contributions to the emulation movement for good workers, creative workers, and training of young workers.
The thematic exhibition runs from now until December 31, on the first floor of the museum.

The award is not only a worthy recognition for the efforts and dedication of the team of workers, civil servants and laborers in Ho Chi Minh City, but also a great source of encouragement to encourage the spirit of overcoming difficulties, creativity and responsibility in work; contributing to spreading the image of the city's workers as dynamic, intelligent and dedicated - true to the revolutionary ideals and the spirit of love for work of President Ton Duc Thang, a typical worker of the Vietnamese working class.

At the meeting, the Ton Duc Thang Museum also received many valuable artifacts and documents donated by President Ton Duc Thang's family, including: household items associated with Uncle Ton and his wife at house number 35 Tran Phu (Hanoi) since 1959; many photos recording Uncle Ton's activities from 1968 to 1979; diplomatic gifts donated by ambassadors from the Soviet Union, Poland, and Czechoslovakia; and 24 valuable documentary films about Uncle Ton's revolutionary activities from 1964 to 1976 donated by Mr. Vien Hong Quang.

Previously, on July 30, 2025, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City issued Decision No. 382/QD-UBND approving the investment policy of the Project to restore and embellish the national historical relic of President Ton Duc Thang Memorial Site in Ba Son area.
This is a group B project, with a total investment of more than 254 billion VND, capital from the city budget, organized and implemented by the Center for Conservation and Promotion of Historical and Cultural Relics of Ho Chi Minh City, project implementation period: 2026-2028.
Mr. Pham Thanh Nam, Director of Ton Duc Thang Museum, shared: “This is a practical activity, contributing to preserving and promoting the value of relics associated with the life and revolutionary career of President Ton Duc Thang, while educating traditions and fostering national pride for today's and future generations.”
