In the mountainous commune of A Vuong, on the Ho Chi Minh Highway at Km437+550 (Cr'toonh village) and Km433 (Xa'oi village), thousands of cubic meters of rock and soil from the positive slope continuously flowed onto the road surface, causing complete traffic congestion. Road DT606, at Km7+500 in Adzoc village, also experienced serious landslides, making it impossible for vehicles to pass.

Mr. Briu Quan, Chairman of the People's Committee of A Vuong Commune, said that the locality has recorded many large landslides, seriously affecting people's travel. Immediately after grasping the situation, A Vuong Commune coordinated with the management unit and functional forces to urgently mobilize machinery and human resources to clear rocks and soil, striving to soon open a temporary one-lane route to serve essential travel needs.

Landslides and road fractures are also occurring in many other areas, posing a very high risk of traffic insecurity.

In Hung Son Commune, on Highway 606 (Km25+600), from Dinh Que to Tay Giang Commune, the road surface has deep cracks, forcing authorities to recommend limiting travel when not really necessary.

In Thanh My commune, on the morning of November 17, a serious landslide occurred on the Ho Chi Minh road at the top of the old Huyen Doi slope (Pa Dau 1 village), many trees fell and rocks from the slope flowed onto the road, causing congestion. Landslides also appeared on National Highway 14D and Ho Chi Minh road through Ben Giang, making travel difficult.

Road 40B from Nam Tra My commune to Tra Linh commune was severely eroded, paralyzing traffic and new landslides continued to appear with strong currents. Tra Linh commune police have set up checkpoints to prevent people from moving through the area at this time, while making efforts to clear the roads to restore vital traffic as soon as possible.

Da Nang city authorities are continuing to closely monitor weather and landslide developments, and are advising people in mountainous communes to absolutely not move through dangerous areas and to be ready to respond to emerging situations.
