The Government directed the Hanoi People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with ministries and branches to prepare for the organization of celebrations, parades, and marches on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).

In Official Dispatch No. 2620 on preparations for organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh assigned the Hanoi People's Committee to preside over the development of a master plan for commemorative activities and a plan to organize the celebration.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested to prepare well for the celebration, parade, march and related tasks; make a list of invitations for leaders, former leaders of the Party, State and domestic delegates and guests.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was assigned to preside over and coordinate the development of a script for the celebration, parade, and march; and prepare to organize a special art program.

The project of military parade at Ba Dinh Square was assigned to the Ministry of National Defense to preside over and coordinate construction.

The Deputy Prime Minister directed the Ministry of Public Security to have a specific plan to ensure security and safety for leaders and former leaders of the Party and State, delegates and people attending the anniversary ceremony; anniversary activities and related tasks.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to develop a plan for the Diplomatic Corps and Heads of Representatives of international organizations in Hanoi to visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and commemorate heroes and martyrs at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs on Bac Son Street, Hanoi; and to develop a plan to invite international delegates and foreign press reporters to attend the celebration.

The Ministry of Health is responsible for ensuring good medical work and has a health care plan for leaders, former leaders of the Party and State, and delegates attending the celebration.

The plan to organize and launch the patriotic emulation movement and specific instructions on emulation and reward work are assigned to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
