The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has just announced the conclusion of the Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, Le Thuy My Chau, at the conference to review the first semester of preschool education in the city for the 2024-2025 school year. Accordingly, Ms. Chau assigned the Department's Preschool Education Department to continue to advise, develop policies, review and implement the plans set out in the 2024-2025 school year.

The Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City assigned the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City, districts, and preschools to review the targets and tasks according to the established plans and projects.
The Department of Education and Training of localities must continue to direct and guide preschools to strictly implement the instructions and directions of the Department of Education and Training, legal documents related to preschool education such as: organizing public implementation according to Circular No. 09/2024/TT-BGDDT dated June 3, 2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training regulating public disclosure in the activities of educational institutions in the national education system; implementing digital transformation in management, operation, and updating the database of the education and training sector.
Notably, Ms. Le Thuy My Chau emphasized that the Department of Education and Training of localities and preschools must: "Continue to do a good job of ensuring absolute physical and mental safety for children, in which, pay special attention to hygiene and disease prevention; ensure food safety and hygiene. Strictly manage non-public preschools; strengthen coordination with city and local departments and branches in inspecting, granting operating licenses, improving the quality of child care and education for independent preschools in the area".

The Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training also requested localities to continue to focus on investing, improving the quality, expanding the care, nurturing and education of children aged 6-18 months; reviewing and updating data on 5-year-old children completing the Preschool Education Program. At the same time, localities and units need to pay attention to reviewing and preparing to ensure conditions for facilities and equipment, especially the preschool teaching staff, ready to implement the new Preschool Education Program according to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training...
Previously, on January 7, 2025, Ms. Le Thuy My Chau chaired the conference to review the first semester of preschool education in the 2024-2025 school year in Ho Chi Minh City. Attending the conference were representatives of the Party Committee of the Department of Education and Training, the City Education Trade Union, the Center for Information and Education Programs, leaders, specialists in charge of preschool education, education managers of preschool education institutions under the Department, the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City and districts.
