Hai Duong Department of Agriculture and Rural Development shortens administrative procedure time thanks to effective application of 2 initiatives

From 2023 to present, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hai Duong province has deployed and effectively applied 2 initiatives in handling administrative procedures.

The first initiative is “Applying a number of measures to shorten the time and reduce costs in the issuance of certificates of eligibility for the production of commercial animal feed and animal feed according to orders”. This initiative has helped organizations and individuals reduce the time for administrative procedures from 10 days (as prescribed) to 5 days.

The second initiative is “Applying some new solutions to shorten the time to handle administrative procedures for granting certificates of eligibility to trade in plant protection drugs”, which has reduced the time to carry out administrative procedures from 3 days (as prescribed) to 1 day.

In 2023, over 50 records of the above two administrative procedures were received and processed by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development ranked 4th out of 18 departments, branches and sectors in the 2023 Administrative Reform Index, up 1 rank compared to 2022.

Since the beginning of 2024, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has received and processed more than 200 administrative procedures. 100% of administrative procedure files are received and processed online; 100% of administrative procedure files are processed correctly and before the deadline.
