The appeal of Ong Cua ST25 rice - "The best rice in the world" in 2025

With its continuous presence in the group of the world's best rice varieties over many years, Ong Cua ST25 rice continues to affirm Vietnam's pioneering position on the world rice map.

At the 17th Global Rice Trade Conference organized by The Rice Trader in Cambodia from November 7-9, 2025, Ong Cua ST25 rice from Vietnam and Phka Romdoul rice from Cambodia both won the first prize in the " World's Best Rice" contest in 2025.

This is the third time that Vietnam's Ong Cua ST25 rice has won the top prize at the "World's Best Rice" contest, after winning first place in 2019 and 2023.
