Cultural Forum with businesses: Shaping breakthrough thinking in the new era

On the afternoon of November 10, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Association for Development of Corporate Culture coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to hold a press conference to introduce the 5th annual National Forum on Culture with Enterprises in 2025.

The forum took place on December 21 in Hanoi with the theme "Vietnamese business culture - Shaped by breakthrough thinking in the new era."

Speaking at the press conference, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy said that the forum is not only an opportunity for meetings and exchanges between management agencies and the business community, but also conveys a strong message from the Party and State, encouraging businesses to actively participate in the cause of socio -economic development, especially in building and spreading corporate culture in the new context.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Association for the Development of Business Culture expect this year's Forum to become a strategic dialogue space between the State, Enterprises and Society to promote business culture as a new driving force for economic development.

According to Mr. Ho Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Corporate Culture Development, the theme of 2025 was chosen to concretize the spirit of important resolutions issued by the Party in the 2024-2025 period, especially Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development.

According to him, the forum not only summarizes a journey, but also opens a new direction, where business culture is considered the foundation for the competitiveness and identity of Vietnamese enterprises in the era of deep integration.

Mr. Mac Quoc Anh, Vice President and General Secretary of the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Head of the Forum Organizing Committee, said: The 5th annual National Forum on Culture with Enterprises aims at four main goals.

First, identify and analyze the impact of the “Quartet of Resolutions” on the process of shaping Vietnamese business culture. Second, create a space for multi-dimensional dialogue between Party and State leaders, experts, entrepreneurs, enterprises and press agencies. Third, orient new values for Vietnamese business culture. Fourth, launch key initiatives including the Vietnamese Business Culture Standard Enterprises Club and the Press Club with Corporate Culture.

The forum consists of two main discussion sessions.

Session 1: “Identifying breakthrough thinking in the new era that impacts Vietnamese business culture,” focuses on discussing new thinking from recent resolutions that impact Vietnamese business culture; identifying opportunities, advantages, and challenges for developing business culture in the digital age.

The second session: “Shaping and developing Vietnamese business culture from breakthrough thinking in the new era,” analyzes in depth the advantages and difficulties of businesses in the process of building and developing business culture values, and proposes solutions and recommendations for sustainable business development associated with breakthrough thinking.

The highlight of the 5th forum is the “Hanoi Message” highlighting the value of Vietnamese business culture in the new era, affirming that culture is not only the soul of the enterprise but also the endogenous energy source of the integrated, creative and prosperous Vietnamese economy.

Here, the Organizing Committee will honor and reward typical enterprises for the 5th time (2025) responding to the Campaign "Building Vietnamese Corporate Culture" launched by the Prime Minister (2016-2024 period).

This year, for the first time, the Vietnam Association for Development of Corporate Culture announced the “Vietnam-Hanoi Business Cultural Values Set 2025,” marking an important step forward in establishing a comprehensive system of standards for Vietnamese enterprises.

This is an effort to form a reference framework to help Vietnamese enterprises build a sustainable business culture, meeting the requirements of integration and development.

The set of values includes the following components: Fundamental ideological values; core values; behavioral standards; business ethics principles and criteria for implementing corporate culture./.
