Ms. B. and Mr. S. have been identified as primarily responsible for the storage and administration of vaccines, specifically for administering expired vaccines to children.

The temporary suspension of the two individuals is to allow relevant agencies to determine responsibility and impose disciplinary measures for the incident involving the administration of expired vaccines.

At around 10 a.m. that same day, several parents reported to the Thang Binh commune health station that their children had been injected with expired vaccines.
The Thang Binh commune health station identified four children who received the expired 6-in-1 vaccine (as of May 9th). Subsequently, health station staff and their families took the children to Thanh Hoa Pediatric Hospital for health monitoring.
Mr. Phan Van Chuong, head of the Thang Binh commune health station, admitted that the unit had made a mistake leading to the administration of expired vaccines to children. The cause was due to staff not checking thoroughly before administering the injections.
