The Miss Student Vietnam 2024 final, with the theme "Original Beauty," recently took place in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh province.
In the final results, Duong Tra Giang won the crown. The new Miss Student Vietnam, born in 2005, is 1.70m tall with measurements of 86-60-91. She is currently a student at the School of Management and Business - Vietnam National University, Hanoi .
Duong Tra Giang was crowned Miss Student Vietnam 2024.
Besides her beauty, Tra Giang is always actively involved in volunteer activities. She has volunteered to share love with the "Sharing Love" group – Youth Union, Women's Association, and Trade Union of the Riot Police Regiment – Hanoi City Police. In particular, with her passion for art, Tra Giang is also a member of the DOTP Theater and Film Club.
In 2017, Tra Giang was honored to receive the second prize for outstanding MC and propagandist of Hoan Kiem District.

In the Q&A segment, Duong Tra Giang received a lot with paintings on the theme of human life. She confidently answered in both Vietnamese and English: “Time is infinite, but human life is finite and very short. Therefore, ‘living life to the fullest, living each moment sincerely,’ living without wasting time is my philosophy of life, and most importantly, participating in Miss University Vietnam 2024 is perhaps the best decision I’ve ever made…”

Her confident answer helped her win the crown convincingly. With this victory, Duong Tra Giang received the crown, prizes worth 1.45 billion VND, and real estate worth 10 billion VND from the sponsor.
The new Miss Vietnam received prizes worth nearly 12 billion VND in total.
Besides the titles, the Miss Student Vietnam 2024 final night also attracted attention with the participation of "Brown-haired Nightingale" My Tam and a host of top-tier artists such as Noo Phuoc Thinh, Soobin... Making a rare appearance at a beauty pageant, My Tam's presence received enthusiastic applause from the audience.
The Miss Vietnamese Student pageant started in August, allowing contestants aged 18 to 24, who have not undergone cosmetic surgery and are not married, to register. The competition honors the positive values of the Vietnamese student generation, highlighting their courage, knowledge, and aspirations.
The competition is structured in a reality TV format. Miss Le Hoang Phuong, beauty queen Huong Ly, and Lydie Vu are the three coaches who accompany the contestants.
