On the afternoon of July 1, Miss Vietnam 2024 Ha Truc Linh and 1st Runner-up Tran Ngoc Chau Anh, 2nd Runner-up Nguyen Thi Van Nhi had a meeting and exchange with the press in Hanoi . The event was organized by Tien Phong Newspaper in coordination with Hoang Thanh Media 3 days after the 3 beauties were honored in the most prestigious positions of the Miss Vietnam 2024 contest.
Journey of creating and spreading positive values
Speaking at the meeting, journalist Phung Cong Suong, Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of Miss Vietnam 2024, emphasized that the Miss Vietnam contest is a journey not only to seek beauty, but also to create and spread positive values of Vietnamese women, including intelligence, compassion and especially the desire to contribute to the community.
According to journalist Phung Cong Suong, the Organizing Committee and the Jury commented that despite many difficulties, especially the final night which had to be postponed due to weather conditions, the Miss Vietnam contest was successful and left many emotions. After the final night on June 27, the contest titles were strongly welcomed and highly supported by the community.
Mr. Hoang Tho Ninh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hoang Thanh Media, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of Miss Vietnam 2024 affirmed that the top 3 Miss Vietnam are the faces representing the beauty, intelligence, bravery and kind hearts of Vietnamese women in the new era. The Organizing Committee will continue to accompany the beauties not only on the path of career development, but also in spreading the image of modern Vietnamese women - intelligent, kind and full of aspirations to contribute.
Appearing radiantly at the press conference, the new Miss Ha Truc Linh and runners-up Chau Anh and Van Nhi unexpectedly performed a trio song “Vietnam in my heart” (Yen Le). Although there was no prior preparation and it was completely spontaneous, the three confidently performed and received enthusiastic cheers.
Contribute good values to the community
Sharing at the exchange, Miss Ha Truc Linh said that she once wanted to become an architect, working in design. However, later, when analyzing herself, she recognized her strengths and weaknesses and found it unsuitable. When she was in high school, the new beauty queen began to learn about marketing and found it interesting, so she decided to take the exam and is currently a student in the Marketing Faculty, University of Finance - Marketing ( Ho Chi Minh City). "In the future, I want to become a successful businesswoman, contributing value to the community," Miss Ha Truc Linh expressed.
The new beauty queen also said: “I always want to contribute to the community. Since I was a child, I have been aware of and done good deeds that are suitable to my abilities. Later, when I have enough courage and experience, I will bring bigger projects with a wider reach. The title of Miss Vietnam is the motivation for me to carry out that mission.”
Responding to a question about the pressure due to the outstanding achievements of her predecessor, Miss Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, the new beauty queen admitted: "There is a bit of pressure, but there is more motivation for me to push myself to improve every day."
Ha Truc Linh said she will choose her own path to carry out her term: “Each person will have a different way of carrying out their mission. But we all share the desire to bring good values to the community and society.”
Spreading the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers, brave and ready to integrate
The face that received no less attention after the contest was runner-up Tran Ngoc Chau Anh – the first soldier to win a high position in a beauty contest. Currently, Tran Ngoc Chau Anh holds the rank of Second Lieutenant, works at the Faculty of Music, University of Military Culture and Arts, and is studying piano at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
At the meeting, the first runner-up said that this title is a special milestone in her life and believes that this is an opportunity for her to spread the image of women in the military who are disciplined, intelligent, compassionate and ready to integrate. At the same time, she also wants to inspire young people to dare to challenge, dare to dream and strive to conquer their dreams.
Expecting new development of the country
Second runner-up Nguyen Thi Van Nhi was also praised for her modern and bright beauty. This beauty from Hai Phong is currently a student at Phenikaa University (Hanoi). Sharing her feelings about July 1, marking the unification of Hai Phong and Hai Duong, as well as the reorganization of many provinces and cities in the country, the second runner-up expressed: "The sky of any homeland is the sky of the Fatherland, wherever we come from, we are all children of red blood and yellow skin". Runner-up Van Nhi hopes that after the reorganization, the homeland and the country will have new developments in the economy and other fields.
The Organizing Committee said that during the 2-year term, it will continue to orient the top 3 according to the 4 pillars of value set out at the beginning of the contest: Beauty - Culture - Intelligence - Dedication. However, for each beauty, the Organizing Committee will still adjust the orientation to suit them, so that each person can shine and promote their own abilities.
