2,000 more night flights

On the morning of April 18, a representative of Vietnam Airlines announced the above information. The airline operates and opens for sale an additional 2,000 late-night flights after 9:00 p.m. every day.

Flight groups have increased flights between Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, etc. According to Vietnam Airlines, this is a solution to add more options for passengers in the context of reduced supply due to the impact of engine recall.

Increased flights and additional economy class tickets are available for sale to suit the budget of travelers during this period.

According to the announcement, the airline will launch many economy and economy class tickets at night from 1.7 - 1.9 million VND/ticket (including taxes and fees) for the route from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang , Nha Trang, Quy Nhon...

Many routes during the April 30 and May 1 holidays have good ticket sales.

Currently, the airline recorded that in the first two days of the April 30 and May 1 holidays (April 27 to 28), the occupancy rate of many tourist routes has reached 70-90% such as Hanoi - Hue, Chu Lai, Quy Nhon, Dong Hoi, Nha Trang; Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc, Tuy Hoa, Dong Hoi, Da Lat, Van Don...

Flights from Hanoi to Da Nang and Phu Quoc have been more than half filled and are expected to continue to increase sharply in the week leading up to the holiday.

Representatives of Vietjet and Bamboo Airways said they plan to add more night flights. Currently, the commercial plan and flight schedule are being arranged, and will be announced when additional sales are opened.

To cope with the shortage of aircraft, airlines are looking for ways to optimize operations, increase seat utilization rates on flights, and especially increase aircraft operating time.

Of which, Vietnam Airlines plans to increase the operating time from 10 to 11-12 hours/plane/day. Vietjet increases from 12-13 to 13-14 hours/plane/day. The aircraft turnaround time is also shortened from 45 minutes to 30-35 minutes.
