
Welcoming Mr. Mironov Dmitry, Assistant to the President of Russia and Mr. Travnikov Maxim, Chairman of the Agency and the high-ranking delegation of the Public Service, Personnel and Anti-Corruption Agency under the President of the Russian Federation to visit and work in Vietnam, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that the Government and people of Vietnam always respect and appreciate the good friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

The two countries upgraded their relations to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2012. The good friendship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation has become an invaluable and precious asset of the two countries and two peoples. The Party, State and people of Vietnam always remember the great and effective assistance of the people of the former Soviet Union and the Russian Federation today to Vietnam during the years of resistance as well as the country's reconstruction. The relationship between the two countries is increasingly close, especially the political relationship with high trust is increasingly strengthened through the mechanism of regular delegation exchanges and bilateral contacts at all levels, especially at the high level, and the mechanism of consultation and strategic dialogue.

Russian Presidential Assistant Mironov Dmitry sent his deep condolences for the heavy human and property losses caused by the recent floods in Central Vietnam; said that the President of the Russian Federation sent a telegram to General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong, expressing sympathy and condolences to the families of the deceased, and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Russian Presidential Assistant Mironov Dmitry informed about the Delegation's activities in Vietnam; preparations for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam and the Public Service, Personnel and Anti-Corruption Agency under the President of the Russian Federation; and sent an invitation to the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister and the Government Inspector General to visit Russia as soon as possible.
Acknowledging that the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam and the Public Service, Personnel and Anti-Corruption Agency under the President of the Russian Federation have had effective cooperation and exchanges in recent times, the First Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam attaches great importance to the fight against corruption. The Government Inspectorate is a very important standing agency in this fight. The fight against corruption is under the direct leadership of General Secretary To Lam. The Politburo also has a Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity, headed by the General Secretary.

The First Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the cooperation content and the content of the memorandum of understanding that the two agencies had discussed. Accordingly, the two sides increased the exchange of high-level delegations not only at the central level but also at the local level, shared activities, trained officials, and practically improved the effectiveness of anti-corruption work. The Vietnamese Government and the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption, waste and negativity highly appreciated and always gave the highest support to this cooperative relationship; at the same time, hoped that the two sides would continue to cooperate in many other potential areas.
Mr. Travnikov Maxim, Chairman of the Russian Federal Service for Public Service, Personnel and Anti-Corruption, shared the positive results in Russia's anti-corruption work, and expressed his wish that the two sides would increase experience exchange and cooperation in training officials, holding professional seminars and developing a transparent database system, managing public assets, and preventing corruption in the private and public sectors.

At the reception, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and Assistant to the Russian President Mironov Dmitry witnessed the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam and the Public Service, Personnel and Anti-Corruption Agency under the President of the Russian Federation.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding, the two sides will coordinate to organize short-term and medium-term training courses, professional seminars, exchange practical experiences in corruption prevention and control, and at the same time create conditions to promote cooperation between local agencies, contributing to deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries.
The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding not only marks a new step forward in the anti-corruption cooperation relationship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, but also demonstrates Vietnam's strong determination in implementing key tasks on anti-corruption, contributing to building a modern, transparent, and effective administration to serve the people.
