Strengthening the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cuba

On July 11, the Vietnamese and Cuban embassies in Argentina organized a friendly exchange between officials and staff of the two diplomatic missions to strengthen the traditional friendship between the two countries.

Speaking at the exchange event, Ambassador Ngo Minh Nguyet affirmed that President Ho Chi Minh and Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro laid the foundation for the Cuba-Vietnam relationship. The mutual support and assistance between the two Parties, two States, and two peoples has become an example of a special, loyal, sincere, and enduring friendship, transcending all geographical boundaries and the challenges of the times.

The relationship between Vietnam and Cuba was forged during their respective struggles for national independence and has been further strengthened by shared ideals of sovereignty , social justice, and international cooperation.

The exchange between officials and staff of the two diplomatic missions aimed to strengthen the traditional friendship and close ties between the two countries.

Ambassador Ngo Minh Nguyet stated that in Argentina, the embassies of the two countries have always maintained very good relations and have always supported each other in diplomatic activities. The annual meetings and exchanges between the two embassies have become a valuable tradition, reflecting and strengthening the deep friendship between the people and the two nations.

For his part, Cuban Ambassador Pedro Pablo Prada highly appreciated the courageous fighting spirit of the Vietnamese people against foreign invaders, and praised the achievements that Vietnam, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, has made in economic development, leading the country on the path of sustainable development for the happiness of its people.

The embassies of the two countries have always maintained a very good relationship and have always supported each other in diplomatic activities.

Ambassador Prada also expressed the exemplary traditional relationship between Vietnam and Cuba, forged and tested over many decades, with the two countries always supporting each other in their common struggle against foreign aggression and in the current cause of building socialism.

On this occasion, officials and staff of the Vietnamese and Cuban embassies enjoyed traditional Vietnamese dishes together.
