The inauguration ceremony of the “TH Fresh Milk Processing Plant” in Kaluga province was part of the activities of the “Vietnam-Russia Business Forum” in Moscow with the presence of General Secretary To Lam and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko.
Here, the high-ranking delegation of the Party, State of Vietnam and the Russian Federation pressed the button to inaugurate the Factory. This important event from Moscow was also broadcast live on television about the Inauguration Ceremony of the TH Fresh Milk Processing Factory in Kaluga province.
The presence and congratulations of General Secretary To Lam and the Vietnamese high-ranking leadership delegation are a great encouragement and motivation for TH Group in particular and for businessmen in general during the official visit to the Russian Federation and the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Russia's Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
After the inauguration ceremony, the production lines of TH Fresh Milk Processing Factory officially came into operation, marking an important milestone of TH in its journey to reach out to the world. Heroine of Labor in the renovation period, businesswoman Thai Huong - Founder, Chairwoman of TH Group's Strategy Council, General Director of Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank once affirmed: "I will bring Vietnamese milk to the world".
That noble aspiration has now become a reality more clearly than ever. With a design capacity of 1,000 tons/day, the above factory is in the TOP of factories with the largest milk processing capacity in the Russian Federation. This is a factory with many "records", not only in terms of scale and modernity but also in the very "unique" construction context when the investor from Vietnam had to overcome countless difficulties due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the global Covid-19 pandemic and the prolonged embargo on the neighboring country.
Therefore, the perseverance, determination, investment potential, professionalism and "credibility" of TH Group, through difficulties, become even clearer.

As journalists who witnessed from the beginning almost all stages of TH Group's journey of investing in Russian agriculture, we were truly moved and proud at the inauguration of the TH Fresh Milk Factory in Kaluga.
I remember the first day, when businesswoman Thai Huong - went to "visit the land" to open a cow farm, build factories in the provinces of Russia, I saw her iron will and path. At that time, many lands were still wild, she had to fly by helicopter, with the leaders of the provinces of the other country to inspect. And not long after that, the leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam attended the groundbreaking ceremony of TH factories and farms with record investment in Kaluga, Moscow...
Especially in 2017, when Ms. Thai Huong was invited to a reception with Russian President Vladimir Putin and a number of foreign investors in Vladivostok, within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum. After listening to her presentation, President Putin gave the most respectful words of praise: "a talented entrepreneur, who has come up with a perfect plan, of the caliber of an international entrepreneur".
Next, large-scale, modern dairy farms were built in Moscow and Kaluga provinces. Tens of millions of US dollars were invested by TH Group in purchasing modern machinery, reclaiming land, and cultivating agriculture using the world's leading advanced technology to grow crops for dairy cows, wheat, barley, soybeans and many other food crops... In mid-2024, TH started the next dairy project in Prymorsky province - a remote and famously harsh Far East region of the birch country, with a scale of 6,000 milking cows (total herd of 12,000).
As businesswoman Thai Huong said at the inauguration ceremony of the TH Fresh Milk Factory in May 2025: “TH’s project in Russia also opens a new trend in investment cooperation between Vietnam and the world. The land will bloom with strengthened friendship. Vietnamese and Russian farmers and citizens will become friends on fertile fields and will live happily forever.”
Also on the happy day of the above-mentioned "Vietnamese milk miracle", Mr. Vladimir Vasilievich Potemkin - Deputy Governor of Kaluga province, emotionally said: The inauguration of the TH fresh milk processing factory on the occasion of the solemn 80th anniversary of the victory over Fascism in the Great Patriotic War of the Russian people, was truly very meaningful. I remember, Ms. Thai Huong said that "when Vietnam was still at war, the Soviet Union helped us very wholeheartedly in both human and material resources. Now that Russia is in difficulty, I invested here partly to express my gratitude for that help. The above reason has always made us feel moved and more responsible to stand side by side with TH Group in the process of building and completing the project. I believe that Russians will love TH fresh milk products".

Indeed, the factory uses raw materials entirely from high-quality fresh milk from TH Group's farms in Moscow and Kaluga provinces. Thanks to the high-yield dairy cow gene source imported from the US, advanced technology and modern management science, the TH cow herd in Russia has an average milk yield of 40-41 liters/cow/day, many cows 60-90 liters/day, and some cows reach 104 liters/day. The milk quality is also outstanding with a fat content of 4.0% and a protein content of 3.2% - the highest in Russia. Currently, the total dairy cow herd of TH Group at farms in Kaluga and Moscow has reached 10,000 cows.
They have overcome the hardships of war, embargo and global pandemic.
Only by standing side by side and witnessing every step of TH Group on the legendary land of Russia, can one truly understand: From the groundbreaking day to the inauguration day this year, the process of building the factory had to overcome so many "classic" challenges that we could hardly imagine! The special military campaign lasted for a long time, the Covid-19 pandemic raged across the globe, and then the embargoes...
But, TH Group did not give up!
Certainly, the effort, cost, and time that the Group spends to implement the project will be many times higher than the expected number. When the machines run smoothly and steadily, the production lines producing TH fresh milk products officially operate at the TH factory in Kaluga province, in the overwhelming joy of many witnesses, everyone together sings a familiar Vietnamese song. Businesswoman Thai Huong sets the pace. Russian journalists take the opportunity to interview the Governor and then the Minister of Agriculture of Kaluga province...
But, as we all know, just a day or two before, many Russian airports were temporarily closed due to foreign drones carrying explosives continuously attacking and threatening to attack. These dangerous activities have been going on for the past few years. Although those attacking devices were all shot down and did not cause any casualties on Russian territory. However, our group’s flights (and many other groups to attend the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic Victory) were continuously canceled and postponed, many people had to wait even for several days and nights in other countries. We ourselves had to enter Dubai to wait. This situation is enough to show how difficult it has been for TH Group in recent years…
Conversations with those who “take the lead” in realizing the aspiration of bringing Vietnamese milk to the world - like the aspiration of the heroine Thai Huong - further demonstrate the above reality. That, with enthusiasm, relentless efforts and great determination to “bring the heroic virtues of a heroic nation” to the world (as Ms. Thai Huong said) the TH Fresh Milk Factory project can now proudly and spaciously be located on an area of 15 hectares of land in Kaluga province as it is today.
Blackened by the sun and wind, by the sub-zero cold outside, by the long journeys between Vietnam and Russia, going around like a shuttle to follow different projects of the group, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Technical Director of TH Fresh Milk Factory in Kaluga said: “I have been attached to this Factory project since the early days. Today's inauguration day truly marks a "miracle" for us. The challenges of war, epidemics, and prolonged embargoes, as we all know, I will not mention it again. But the cold weather below minus degrees, thick snow everywhere, and having to construct modern items from a 15-hectare "wild forest" - where the factory is currently located, is extremely difficult. The freezing winter makes construction impossible, when the weather warms up, we have to race against the schedule. Exhausting".
Mr. Ngo Minh Hai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TH Group, emphasized this once again in an interview with us right at the newly-operated milk factory in Kaluga. “The Covid-19 pandemic has caused regions to be locked down, flights to Russia are not possible, and traveling from one region to another within Russia is also fraught with difficulties. There are no workers to hire, transportation is restricted in all directions. Contractors and equipment suppliers in Europe, due to the embargo, cannot deliver goods. Many construction plans for the factory's items have had to be changed and redone up to five times,” Mr. Hai said.
There were times when many people felt discouraged and wanted to give up.

Both Mr. Hai and Mr. Tung, in their conversation with us, emphasized that in that context, if it weren't for the perseverance, iron determination and special positive energy of businesswoman - Hero Thai Huong, many people would have given up.
All difficulties have been overcome. Now, the factory has been inaugurated and put into operation; with design and construction from the world's leading prestigious and modern corporations and the processing line system provided by famous units from Germany, Sweden, Norway, Japan, Türkiye...
To achieve the above results, in addition to the efforts, determination, and perseverance of the leaders and all staff of TH Group, we must also mention the open policies and thoughtful dedication of the authorities of the Russian Federation in general and Kaluga province in particular. As Mr. Ngo Minh Hai gratefully emphasized in a conversation with us, after the above inauguration ceremony:
“Russian policies and the leadership of Kaluga province have supported us a lot. They even did a great job of urging us to come and get the support money from the Russian Government when doing the project - according to the law. The leaders and officials on your side are always interested and very close. For example, the Minister of Agriculture of Kaluga province came to the factory to have weekly meetings with us, trying to find ways to resolve any problems that may arise, such as stories about contractors, equipment suppliers, raw materials of all kinds.
Amidst many difficulties due to the times and context, many investors even gave up, TH Group always steadfastly followed its path and made efforts to carry out the project to the end, with all its efforts. The Kaluga provincial government saw our perseverance, so they appreciated it very much, and were willing to stand side by side with us from big to small things."
Emotional dialogues in Kaluga
Talking directly with cadres, workers and farmers participating in the chain of high-tech agricultural projects of TH Group in the Russian Federation, we can better understand the role, position and emotional significance of "Bringing Vietnamese milk to the world".
It is not only a story of market expansion, economic development, and creating a big brand mark of a business with the motto of dedication to the community.
We also want to emphasize the humanitarian significance of these activities. They have created jobs, awakened the land, and revived Russia's struggling rural areas by attracting young, talented people (who are living away from home and in crowded cities) to return to contribute to their homeland.
Born and raised about 12 km from Ulyanov town, Kaluga province (where TH Group's Fresh Milk Factory is located), Mr. Victor, 54 years old, feels very lucky to be accepted as a mechanic by TH Rus Company. Before, he worked as a driver for an agricultural cooperative, where the old, outdated machines made him extremely tired. In addition, the income was low. A few years ago, knowing about a complex building a milk factory of TH Group, Victor immediately applied and was selected. Working with new, modern machines, creating high productivity, helps him feel healthy, confident, and especially the fact that he receives a salary much higher than the average in the area where he lives makes him extremely satisfied.
“Before, the forest was covered with mixed trees, life was difficult. Now, everyone has a job, in a place with high and stable salaries like this, I and many others are very happy. As long as I am healthy, I will continue to work here,” Mr. Victor emphasized.

Fadyusha Sergey Olegeevich, 28 years old, is currently the Farm Manager of TH Group in Kaluga. “I graduated from Kaluga Agricultural College, then studied at Moscow Economic College, I feel confident and see myself as truly contributing to the community, when participating in such a large, modern and effective project. My wife is a veterinarian, I am encouraging her to work at TH farm, so that the family can “reunite”, and at the same time she will have the opportunity to take care of the lovely cows here”, Fadyusha Sergey Olegeevich revealed her plan.
Tonka and her husband have been with TH for even longer. An accountant at TH Rus, working on the Kaluga project, she said: both husband and wife have been working here since 2017, that is, 8 years. Her husband is a mechanic.
“After many years working outside, we still had a hard time. Now, two jobs at TH have helped us travel to some of our dream places, change to a more modern car, buy some of our dream items, and renovate and upgrade our house. The salary, bonus, vacation and health insurance policies are well implemented, I am very satisfied,” she confided.
Ms. Tonka also emphasized: “Before having products from TH fresh milk factory, I tried TH products, brought from Vietnam by my colleagues. It was great. I really liked it, found it suitable for us Russians.”
The world-famous harsh tundra regions of the Far East, Russian Federation have become green and fertile after large-scale reclamation and cultivation activities, serving the project of raising cows, producing clean fresh milk and dairy products of TH Group. Farms, then the largest and most modern factories in Russia have been established and operated in Moscow and Kaluga provinces. This is the most convincing evidence, a great pride in the desire, in the strength of the mind and talent of Vietnamese enterprises, in the journey to reach the big sea. This is truly a "Vietnamese milk miracle", the blossoming and bearing fruit of the journey of "bringing Vietnamese milk to the world" that businesswoman Hero Thai Huong and the entire TH Group are devoting all their efforts to.
