Free training in artificial intelligence skills for 2 million young people

The AI Popular Training Program - Training on AI skills for union and association officials was organized by the Central Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union in coordination with partners this afternoon, May 29. This is the largest-ever AI knowledge and skills training program for Vietnamese youth, with more than 500 connecting points and the participation of tens of thousands of union and association officials at all levels.

The program is part of the “AI Education for Vietnam” initiative initiated by the Global Network of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals, aiming to provide free training for 2 million Vietnamese youth in the 2025–2026 period, of which at least 500,000 will complete the program in the first year.

Inspired by the "popular education" movement in the early years of the country's founding, the "Popular AI Education" program is an effort to modernize knowledge dissemination with the goal of popularizing the application of artificial intelligence AI in union and association work, in labor and production - one of the essential capacities of citizens in the new era.

The training content is specifically designed for union members, youth, students, and pupils with a training roadmap from basic to advanced, focusing on practical skills and applying AI to practical study, work, and work.

In particular, the program is completely free and can be studied online 24/7 on phocap.ai, to create conditions for all Vietnamese youth to access AI easily, regardless of region, economic conditions and time. In addition, a team of experts and AI tools will accompany and support students throughout the program to ensure the quality and ability to practice AI applications for students.

The program gathers a team of lecturers who are excellent young doctors and experts - those who have graduated and are working at the world's leading universities and technology corporations. The strong connection between young intellectuals at home and abroad has created a practical training program, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and responsibility towards the homeland and country.

In the next phase, Universal AI will continue to coordinate with agencies and departments to develop specialized AI skills training programs for each occupational group, meeting the need to develop high-quality human resources for the country.

In his opening speech, Secretary of the Central Youth Union and President of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam emphasized that artificial intelligence is opening a completely new era with unprecedented opportunities and if not pioneering, youth organizations and associations will lose their leading role in the generation that is shifting and growing with technology. If each individual does not adapt in time, they will fall behind.

Therefore, the program "Learn AI for the People" not only aims to popularize the skills of using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini... but more importantly, to inspire Vietnamese youth to enter the digital age, with the mindset of mastering technology and using it responsibly.

“This is a practical program to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, and at the same time, it is an activity to concretize the Prime Minister's national digital transformation program and the Youth Law, with the goal of training 500,000 cadres, members and young people in 2025, aiming to popularize the use of AI for 2 million young people by 2026,” said Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam./.
