Thai Binh has a new Director of the Department of Education and Training after the exam cheating incident.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Thai Binh province, was appointed as Director of the Department.

This morning (March 3), the Department of Education and Training of Thai Binh province held a conference to announce the decision on personnel work. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Thai Binh province, was appointed to the position of Director of the Department.

Presenting the decision and congratulating the new Director of the Department of Education and Training, Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hung assessed Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha as a well-trained cadre, matured from the grassroots, experienced many positions from teacher, Vice Principal, Principal of Quynh Coi High School. In October 2021, Mr. Ha was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training.

In all his positions, Mr. Ha always had a scientific and democratic working method, close to the grassroots, completed assigned tasks well, and made important contributions to the education and training career of the province.

In order to meet the socio-economic development goals and successfully implement the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, the Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Education and Training and the new Director of the Department to focus on studying the policies and regulations of the Party and State on education and the province's practices, promptly advising the Provincial People's Committee to implement Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee on "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient;" to develop a Project to reorganize the apparatus to ensure "Straightening-Straightening-Strong-Efficient-Effective-Effective", in which the departments under the Department are arranged after receiving the vocational education sector from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Review and reorganize the provincial educational institution network after completing the reorganization of commune-level administrative units for the 2023-2025 period and the 2026-2030 period.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province requested the new Director of the Department of Education and Training to focus on effectively implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; resolutions of the Central Committee; directives, action programs, and plans of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee; the education and training sector needs to clearly define the time, work, and results to contribute to the successful implementation of the province's socio-economic development goals.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province requested the leaders and all officials, civil servants and public employees of the Education and Training sector to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, building and supporting Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha in leadership and direction, overcoming all difficulties, and successfully carrying out assigned tasks.

In his acceptance speech, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Thai Binh province Nguyen Ngoc Ha affirmed to continue to improve his spirit, responsibility, determination, efforts, and strive to complete all assigned tasks in his new position.

Previously, regarding violations of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year, based on the inspection results, in September 2024, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province issued disciplinary decisions against leading and managing civil servants of the Department of Education and Training of the province; in which, disciplinary action in the form of dismissal for Mr. Nguyen Viet Hien, Director of the Department of Education and Training.

Thus, after nearly 6 months of "vacancy" in the position of Department Director, Thai Binh province has now filled this position.
