Previously, a 40-second clip appeared on social media, recording a man riding a motorbike to a house, calling a child out to the yard, and repeatedly slapping him in the face.

Through initial verification, the incident occurred at 9:33 a.m. on August 8 in Tay Do commune ( Thanh Hoa province). The man in the clip is Mr. VXT, an English teacher at Vinh Loc High School; the beaten child is a student who has just finished 7th grade and is preparing to enter 8th grade.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tinh, Principal of Vinh Loc High School, said that teacher T. is related to this student and has tutored him since grade 3. The cause of the incident was determined to be that while playing with friends, the student said "teacher T. does not understand what he is teaching", causing teacher T. to be upset and go to the student's house and slap him 3 times in front of the student's mother.

The case is currently being further investigated by the authorities.
