This activity aims to create a meaningful cultural and artistic space for the disabled community, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); at the same time, to honor the vitality and dedication of disabled youth in the new era.

The program gathered more than 1,000 disabled people from Hanoi , Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Hai Duong, Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, Nghe An to attend. Although many people have mobility disabilities and have to use wheelchairs, with their great love for the Fatherland and respect for Vietnamese cultural heritage, they did not hesitate to travel far to attend the program in Hanoi. Notably, the program had the participation of 135 families of children and people with cerebral palsy.
Chairman of the Central Association of Disabled Youth, Head of the program's organizing committee Pham Van Thanh, said: "The event is not only an opportunity for the disabled community - the strong-willed hearts - to express their gratitude to previous generations and national pride, but also a space to meet, exchange and spread traditional culture through vivid experiences. We believe that each disabled person can become a small flame that contributes to warming and illuminating the common journey of the nation."

According to Mr. Pham Van Thanh, the development of each person cannot be separated from the origin of national culture. Culture is the foundation, the root that shapes personality, nurtures the soul and supports the will to rise up.
“Especially for disadvantaged people like us - disabled youth, traditional culture is a spiritual support, a guiding light on the journey to overcome adversity to integrate, affirm self-worth and contribute to the community,” Thanh shared.

Through the program “The Quintessence of the North - Shining Willpower”, young people with disabilities not only review the glorious history of the nation, but also convey their aspirations to join hands in building a strong and civilized country.
