Identify the question that needs to be explored in depth.
According to Mr. Luu Huy Thuong (Master's degree from Hanoi University of Science and Technology), based on the sample exam and the official exam of the recent years' high school graduation exam, the content of the math exam mainly belongs to the 12th grade curriculum (about 90%), including 7 topics: (1) Functions; (2) Powers - Exponents - Logarithms; (3) Antiderivatives, integrals and applications; (4) Complex numbers; (5) Polyhedra; (6) Solids of revolution; (7) Oxyz geometry. The content of the 11th grade curriculum focuses on the topics: Combinatorics - Probability; Arithmetic progression - Geometric progression; Spatial geometry (angles and distances).
For each topic (except for 11th-grade content), there are questions ranging from easy to difficult. Each question is worth the same amount of points, 0.2 points each, regardless of difficulty. Therefore, to perform well on the graduation exam, students need to have a solid grasp of all the foundational knowledge from the 12th-grade curriculum and a few topics from the 11th grade.
Depending on your abilities and target score, you can determine the "depth" of knowledge needed for each topic. For example, with a target of 8.5-9 points, you should first accurately complete the first 38-40 questions (mostly basic questions, covering all topics in the 12th grade curriculum and some of the 11th grade); for the remaining 10 questions, you can choose which question types you want to delve deeper into.

Common mistakes candidates make
Incorrectly identifying the requirements and assumptions of the problem:
Conceptual errors: candidates confuse concepts such as "extremum," "extremum point of a function," "extremum value of a function," and "extremum point of a function." They also mistakenly equate the following types of shapes: a regular triangular prism with a prism with an equilateral triangle base, or a regular quadrilateral pyramid with a pyramid with a regular quadrilateral base, etc.
Calculation errors, incorrect transformations, missing conditions:
Some reasons for mistakes include: using a calculator for all calculations at home, but resorting to mental arithmetic during exams; and for basic problems, using one method at home but inventing a completely new one during the exam.
Therefore, this teacher's advice is that for basic questions, students don't need to be creative when taking the exam. Just do the same as you did during revision. It might take a little longer or be a little more tiring, but it's familiar and practiced, so there will be fewer mistakes.
Incorrect transformations in formulas occur due to missing conditions, especially in logarithmic formulas.
Forgetting to check conditions when drawing conclusions: forgetting to compare conditions when concluding the solution of an equation or inequality; forgetting to check for coincidences when writing the equation of a line parallel to another line or writing the equation of a plane parallel to another plane,...

Adjusting the circadian rhythm
With less than a week until the high school graduation exam, Mr. Thuong believes that the first thing students need to do during this period is to "adjust their biological rhythm."
During intensive study sessions, many students experience circadian rhythm disruptions. They are wide awake at night but lethargic and unfocused during the day. Therefore, candidates need to adjust their daily routines and study schedules.
The strategy during this period is to preserve your score. Make sure that any questions you answer correctly are accurate. Eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly, and get at least six hours of sleep a day to maintain a sharp mind and perform at your best on the exam.
The candidates have worked hard over the past few months, so they need to go to bed early the night before the exams.
When taking the test, stay calm, work from easy to difficult, from familiar to unfamiliar, and avoid getting bogged down in strange and difficult questions. Absolutely stick to the methods you've practiced with the basic, familiar questions. Math is a multiple-choice test with many options; even if you can't answer all the questions, you must select all the correct answers.
