On the afternoon of October 31, a video clip was posted on Facebook recording the emotional farewell ceremony of 1,400 students for their retired principal.

The opening scene shows some students escorting the principal from the gate to the middle of the school yard. Then, many students rushed from the buildings to the middle of the yard to give flowers to the teacher and hug him emotionally.

Speaking at the farewell ceremony, the principal said he was very surprised and touched that the students and teachers organized such a warm and emotional ceremony. This was an honor and a source of pride for a teacher like him.

Sharing about this, Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Thu - Vice Principal of Phan Chu Trinh High School - confirmed that the clip of the farewell party for the principal was made by students and teachers of the school that morning.

The main character in the clip is Mr. Hoang Minh Ngoc (61 years old), principal of Phan Chu Trinh High School. He will officially retire from tomorrow (November 1).

"Everyone wants to give him a surprise after nearly 40 years of dedication to the career of educating people in the locality," Ms. Thu said emotionally.

Phan Bao Chau, a student of class 12A1 and his group of friends, said the simple and sincere farewell ceremony was also a deep gratitude that they were honored to represent nearly 40 classes of students of the school to send to teacher Hoang Minh Ngoc.

"Teacher Hoang Minh Ngoc is forever the best, forever the spiritual support for generations of students to overcome difficulties and rise up," Bao Chau emotionally shared.

On the afternoon of October 31, the Departmentof Education and Training of Dak Lak province also held a ceremony to announce the retirement decision for teacher Hoang Minh Ngoc, principal of Phan Chu Trinh High School.

Mr. Hoang Minh Ngoc was born and raised in the coastal city of Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh province. In 1986, after graduating from the University of Education, the young man Hoang Minh Ngoc chose Dak Lak to commit to and devote himself to the education career.

After nearly 40 years of working, going through many positions, Mr. Ngoc always sets an example of teacher ethics, dedication, love for the profession, love for students, and excellently completes all assigned tasks.
