More and more American voters believe that President Joe Biden's term has been a poor one, as the current White House owner prepares to enter a rematch with former President Trump in the 2024 US election.

American voters also re-evaluated Mr. Trump's performance during his tenure as US President from 2017 to 2021, and they said he did better than expected.

Only 14% of voters said Mr. Biden did better than they expected, while 42% said he did worse.

However, 40% of voters rated President Trump's term as better than expected, while 29% rated it as worse.

The latest figures are a positive sign for Mr. Trump, who has just won the caucuses to choose the Republican candidate for the 2024 US election in Nevada.

Mr. Trump won all 25 electoral votes in Nevada on February 8.

A similar poll conducted by NBC News in August 2018 found that 29% of voters praised Trump's performance during his term, while 27% predicted the situation would worsen in the coming months.

According to NBC News, President Biden's poor numbers come from frustration within the Democratic Party.

While 52% of Democrats said Mr Biden's performance in office met their expectations, 30% said it was better and 18% said it was worse.

As for Mr. Trump, 80% of Republicans praised his term, only 6% said it was worse.
