On the afternoon of December 4, at the press conference to inform the 8th session of the 19th term People's Council of Bac Ninh province, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the People's Council of Bac Ninh province Tran Thi Hang said that GRDP growth in 2025 is estimated to reach 10.27% and rank 5th in the country.

At the press conference, Permanent Vice Chairwoman Tran Thi Hang informed that after 5 months of operation of the new administrative unit, the Provincial People's Council has quickly completed its apparatus and successfully organized 8 sessions. The local state power agency has issued 76 resolutions on many important areas such as apparatus organization, public investment and social security. These decisions ensure that policies are not interrupted when merging provinces, while contributing to promoting the local economic growth to reach double digits and closely following the plan assigned by the Government.

According to the schedule, the 8th session of the 19th Bac Ninh Provincial People's Council will take place on December 9 and 10 at the Provincial Convention Center. Delegates will listen to 10 reports on socio-economic development, crime prevention and control, and the performance of judicial agencies in 2025. The Provincial People's Council is expected to review and approve nearly 50 draft resolutions focusing on the fields of economy, budget, socio-culture, and law.

Many issues of particular interest to voters will be thoroughly discussed, such as regulations on support levels for agricultural production in areas damaged by natural disasters and decisions on land price lists applicable from January 1, 2026. In addition, policies on supporting human resource training to serve key industries such as semiconductors and artificial intelligence in the 2025-2030 period will also be considered. Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Council Than Trung Kien said that specialized agencies have consulted on a new draft resolution based on inheriting the advantages of the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang before the merger to suit the reality.

Regarding the questioning session, Chief of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the People's Council of Bac Ninh Province, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuyen, informed that there were 34 groups of issues that voters had proposed to the session. The Provincial People's Council plans to select the four hottest areas related to administrative procedures, environmental resources and land to bring to the questioning session for department directors and heads of agencies under the Provincial People's Committee.

To ensure that information is widely disseminated to the people, the People's Council of Bac Ninh province will broadcast and report live 3 out of 4 working sessions on the platforms of Bac Ninh Newspaper, Radio and Television.
