On April 10, the Provincial People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 2492 on giving opinions and directing the implementation of the online contest "Raising awareness of preventing accidents caused by bombs, mines and explosives left over from war in Vietnam".

The Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Military Command to preside over and advise the Provincial People's Committee to deploy the contest to the subjects as requested by the Vietnam National Mine Action Center (VNMAC) in Official Dispatch No. 387 on directing, propagating, and orienting cadres, party members, union members, youth, students and people to actively participate in the contest.

According to the rules, the online contest "Raising awareness of preventing accidents caused by bombs, mines and explosives left over from war in Vietnam" is organized by VNMAC nationwide, in response to World Mine Awareness Day (April 4).

The Organizing Committee will award 16 prizes with a total value of up to 39 million VND. Including 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 10 Consolation Prizes.

The contest takes place from 12:00 on April 4 to 12:00 on May 4, 2024, at http://vnmac.gov.vn. Contestants are Vietnamese citizens who know how to use computers and other smart electronic devices to take the online test (except for officers, civil servants, and employees of Office 701, VNMAC, and domestic and foreign organizations operating in the field of overcoming the consequences of bombs and mines left by war in Vietnam).

Candidates will take the test online on the VNMAC website at http://thitructuyen.vnmac.gov.vn. Candidates will answer multiple-choice questions on computers or other electronic devices with internet connection (tablets, smartphones) according to the pre-designed question set software.

Each candidate can take the exam multiple times, however only one correct result will be recognized among the attempts. The exam consists of 15 multiple choice questions, to be completed in 30 minutes.

The contest results are expected to be announced in May 2024 and posted on the VNMAC website at http://vnmac.gov.vn and Fanpage: https://www.facebook.com/vnmac.gov.vn
