The Provincial People's Committee considered that due to difficulties and problems in compensation and site clearance, it agreed to extend the contract implementation period for the construction of Tam Tien Bridge and access roads as requested by the Department of Construction.

The Provincial People's Committee requests the People's Committee of Nui Thanh district to base on the progress of compensation, site clearance, and remaining construction volume to negotiate and sign a contract appendix on adjusting the contract implementation time to ensure that it does not exceed the project implementation time approved by the People's Committee.
The province adjusted in Decision No. 1373 dated June 7, 2024, to complete soon.
Complete the entire project, accept it and put it into use, and promote investment efficiency. Note that extending the contract implementation period does not increase construction costs compared to the signed contract.

The People's Committee of Nui Thanh district also needs to focus on directing the project management agency, the unit implementing the compensation and site clearance work, the departments, localities and related units to actively coordinate and promptly complete the compensation, site clearance and resettlement work to ensure the progress of construction. At the same time, direct the correction and draw lessons from the delay in reporting to competent authorities for consideration and extension of the construction contract period.

Previously, the Provincial People's Committee approved the adjustment of the implementation time of the Tam Tien Bridge and Access Road project to the 2018 - 2024 phase instead of the 2018 - 2022 phase previously approved in Decision No. 1590 dated May 30, 2019.
