Through several important discussions at the meeting of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee members.

On December 10th, the People's Committee of An Giang province held a meeting to approve the decisions of the Provincial People's Committee members regarding matters within their authority to decide and submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ho Van Mung, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province.

Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province Nguyen Thanh Phong and other Vice Chairmen of the People's Committee of An Giang province attended the meeting.

At the meeting, members of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee discussed and contributed opinions on documents within their decision-making authority and documents to be submitted to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee.

Nguyen Thanh Phong, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, delivered a speech at the meeting.

The Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs reported on the draft resolution stipulating the level of financial support for the construction of new traditional Ngo boats for the Khmer ethnic minority in An Giang province.

The Department of Health reported on two draft resolutions: Regulations on the expenditure level for gifts to celebrate the birthdays of elderly people in An Giang province; and regulations on the content and expenditure levels for implementing some activities under the Health and Population Target Program that have been transformed into regular tasks in An Giang province.

Representatives from the An Giang Provincial Department of Internal Affairs presented the draft resolution at the meeting.

The Department of Internal Affairs reported on two draft resolutions: Regulations on support policies for people who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution, their relatives and families in An Giang province; and regulations on the subjects and expenditure levels for annual Lunar New Year visits and greetings in An Giang province.

The Department of Science and Technology reported on three draft resolutions: Regulations on criteria, conditions, procedures, content, and support levels for the production of digital technology products and services; regulations on criteria, conditions, procedures, content, and support levels for innovative startup projects in the digital technology industry; and regulations on specific policies for the development of the semiconductor industry; and support and incentives for businesses participating in the semiconductor supply chain.

The Department of Industry and Trade reports on the draft resolution: regulations on procurement, procedures for issuing badges, flags, insignia, signs and uniforms for Market Management Sub-departments and civil servants working at Market Management Sub-departments under the Department of Industry and Trade of An Giang province.

Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, Le Huu Toan, reported at the meeting.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment reports on the draft resolution: Regulations on policies to support agricultural production to restore production in areas damaged by natural disasters and plant pests in An Giang province; regulations on the authority to decide on the liquidation of planted forests under the management of localities in An Giang province.

At the same time, the Department of Agriculture and Environment reported and sought opinions on the conversion of forest land for the Nui Ong Quan Urban Area project; and reported on the difficulties and obstacles of the Phu Quoc Sun International Hospital.

The An Giang Provincial Tax Department has reported on a draft resolution deciding on the allocation and accounting of state budget revenue from value-added tax deductions on five basic construction projects funded by the state budget in An Giang province.

The Provincial Police Department reported on the draft resolution stipulating the criteria for establishing and the number of members of the Security and Order Protection Team; and the level of support and compensation for those participating in the security and order force at the grassroots level in An Giang province.

The Department of Finance reported on draft resolutions: repealing normative legal resolutions of the Provincial People's Council in the field of finance; socio-economic tasks for 2026-2030; socio-economic tasks for 2026; and a report on the implementation of the 5-year socio-economic development plan for 2021-2025... The meeting also discussed and approved many other important contents.
