Through monitoring the internet, the Da Nang Department of Information and Communications has discovered some information on the internet and social media sites regarding Da Nang City organizing a fireworks display for the 2025 New Year's Day celebration.

However, according to official information from the Da Nang City People's Committee Office, the city will not be organizing fireworks displays on this occasion. Information circulating on social media about the city's fireworks display locations is inaccurate and may mislead residents and tourists.

Therefore, the Da Nang City Department of Information and Communications advises residents and tourists to pay attention and regularly keep informed about the city's policies in general, and about the organization of fireworks displays in particular, through official information channels and newspapers.

According to the plan, Da Nang City will only have fireworks displays on New Year's Eve of the Year of the Snake (from 0:00 on January 29, 2025) at 3 locations: Bach Dang Square (at the intersection of Bach Dang and Binh Minh 6 streets); the area in front of the Lien Chieu District Administrative Center (opposite the east side of the District Administrative Center); and the resettlement area of ​​the western ring road (Duong Lam 1 village, Hoa Phong commune, Hoa Vang district).
