Kinhtedothi - In preparation for the New Year's Eve celebration, on the evening of January 26, at the square area of ​​My Dinh Stadium, the People's Committee of Nam Tu Liem District held a rehearsal for the drone performance of the Brilliant Thang Long 2025 with the theme "Brilliant springs".

The highlight of the event was the demonstration of drones and 4,050 pyrotechnics. However, during the pyrotechnics drone test flight, due to technical issues, some of the devices fell onto the open ground and set the dry grass on fire.

The day after the incident, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Force dispatched many fire trucks to the scene to perform their duties. The representative of the Organizing Committee said that this was a situation that had been outlined in the safety plan of the Organizing Committee, so the authorities promptly extinguished the fire without causing any loss of life or property. The Organizing Committee will continue to review and evaluate the factors to decide on organizing the program to ensure safety.
