Seized more than 25 tons of vitamins and collagen from Chinese business owner

More than 25 tons, equivalent to more than 200,000 products such as vitamins, collagen... in the field of health protection foods without invoices and documents proving legal origin have just been discovered and seized by the authorities of Bac Ninh province.

According to information from the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) on April 27, the Market Management Department (QLTT) of Bac Ninh province has just coordinated with the Economic Police Department, Bac Ninh Provincial Police to suddenly inspect, detect and seize over 25 tons, equivalent to about 200,000 products such as vitamins, collagen... in the field of health protection foods without invoices and documents proving legal origin.

Specifically, on April 25, Market Management Team No. 3, Market Management Department of Bac Ninh province coordinated with the Economic Police Department, Bac Ninh Provincial Police to conduct a surprise inspection of Vietnam Denger International Technology Corporation Co., Ltd.

This is a company located at Nam Hong Area, Dong Ky Ward, Tu Son City, Bac Ninh Province, directed by Wang Chao, born in 1991, Chinese nationality.

During the inspection, the authorities discovered over 212,000 health food products, mainly vitamins, collagen, glucosamine... produced abroad, with English language on the products. The shipment has an estimated value of over 20 billion VND.

At the time of inspection, director Wang Chao could not present documents and invoices proving the legality of the shipment.

According to authorities, information from market surveillance work shows that Vietnam Denger International Technology Corporation Co., Ltd. was established and operated in Bac Ninh province since March 2025.

The authorities have temporarily detained all of the above goods to continue investigating and clarifying the violation.

Recently, many cases of production and trading of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals that do not meet quality standards, without invoices or documents... have been discovered, confiscated and destroyed by authorities in many provinces and cities.

Many experts say that currently, counterfeit, fake goods of unknown origin are being sold widely on e-commerce sites, online markets... posing many risks to users, affecting legitimate, legitimate businesses.

Therefore, authorities need to increase inspection and supervision from production sites, warehouses, to business activities outside the market and on online markets.
