1. The following batches of A Cosmetics Soft Perfume Moisture Whitening Cream SPF 45 - 1 jar of 150g are to be recalled and destroyed throughout the province:
- The product label states “A Cosmetic Soft Perfume Protect Whitening Body Cream Moisture Whitening SPF 45+”, Lot number: 262024; Manufacturing date: 12.09.2024; Expiry date: 12.09.2027; Organization responsible for bringing the product to market: 2 Phuong Anh Cosmetics Production, Trading and Investment Service Co., Ltd. (Address: 64-66 S5 Street, Tay Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City).
- Reason for recall: The product is of unknown origin. The sun protection factor (SPF 45+) on the label does not match the sun protection factor test results of the sample (SPF: 2.0).
2. The Provincial Center for Disease Control informs businesses selling and using cosmetics, as well as the public, to refrain from selling or using the aforementioned batch of A Cosmetics Soft Perfume Moisture Whitening Cream SPF 45 - 1 jar of 150g.
3. Businesses and users of cosmetics in the province are required to immediately cease trading and using the aforementioned batch of A Cosmetics Soft Perfume Moisture Whitening Cream SPF 45 - 1 jar of 150g and return it to the supplier.
4. The People's Committees of communes and wards are requested to notify businesses and users of cosmetics in their managed areas to review the aforementioned A Cosmetics Soft Perfume Moisture Whitening SPF 45 Cream - 1 jar of 150g, proceed with recalling and returning the product to the supplier; inspect and supervise the units implementing this notification; conduct a review and handle according to regulations, and send a report to the Department of Health through the Pharmaceutical Affairs Department (if any) before December 12, 2025.
The Department of Health hereby informs all relevant units to be aware of and implement this./.
