The Prime Minister sent a letter commending the successful dismantling of major drug trafficking rings.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just sent a letter commending the functional forces for organizing the fight against and dismantling large-scale illegal drug trafficking and transportation networks from abroad into Vietnam.

A drug busted.

The Prime Minister sent a letter of commendation to the Border Guard Command; the Border Guard Commands of Quang Tri and Ha Tinh provinces; the Border Guard Command of Da Nang City ; and the Central Region Anti-Drug and Crime Task Force (under the Anti-Drug and Crime Department, Border Guard Command).

The Prime Minister commended the forces for successfully carrying out Special Cases QB525 and HT825, dismantling large-scale illegal drug trafficking and transportation networks from abroad into Vietnam, arresting 3 suspects, seizing 535.5 kg of various types of drugs and many related exhibits and documents, ensuring absolute safety.

The achievements of these forces demonstrate courage, high determination, resourcefulness, and skill in the fight against drug crimes, contributing to protecting the peaceful and happy lives of the people and enhancing the glorious traditions of the Border Guard and the heroic Vietnam People's Army.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of National Defense to promptly provide appropriate commendations and propose suitable awards for collectives and individuals directly involved in solving the case; to organize extensive propaganda, study, and emulation of the spirit of crime prevention and control demonstrated by the Border Guard units in the recent past; and at the same time, to continue directing the Border Guard forces to take the lead and closely coordinate with functional forces to strengthen the fight against all types of crime, especially transnational drug crimes, preventing drugs from entering Vietnam, contributing to protecting the safety and happiness of the people.
